The room here was bright and had a private bathroom, and there were lots of delicious meals available.

This place is located in a stunning and lovely location with a roofed temple nearby and local markets right next door.

The service here is exceptional and the food is outstanding, the rooms are fairly spacious with great bathrooms, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff, as well as the owner, are extremely friendly and helpful.

location: the hotel was adjacent to the sacred tooth temple, kandy downtown and tempel of tooth, and the main sites. café cafe banana chill located 1 km away was a nice surprise. the breakfast was generous and delicious - a good choice of dishes.

Everything was perfect, though a few employees were unprofessional. We stayed in the double room with balcony and loved it.

I had the most incredible stay at 36 Bed & Breakfast. The room was spacious, clean, and felt like a true home away from home. The views overlooking the lake were breathtaking, especially from the comfortable communal lounge area. The host, Ramathan, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and happiness throughout my stay. His delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts were a highlight of my mornings. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this boutique hotel for a memorable stay in Kandy.

I would stay here again and enjoy a very special stay. The bed and breakfast is clean and ideal, with magnificent views across the lake. The breakfast is great, and the staff is very hospitable and amiable. The hotel has an excellent location, an easy walk to Kandy Museum. It is nestled in a very comfortable area near the central area, a hill overlooking the lake and mountains.

Had an amazing Christmas stay at this Bed & Breakfast! The manager was incredibly warm and friendly, making our stay truly remarkable. The breakfast they served was delicious and the way it was served was exceptional. The rooms were perfect and had a breathtaking view. The tuk tuk service made it convenient to explore the surrounding areas. it was a lovely experience and highly recommended!

The lack of lunch and dinner options. It would have been great to have the option to enjoy a meal at the hotel itself.

We stayed for 2 nights and loved the room, which was big size and huge with a great view. The location was great, around 4-6 minutes away by foot from a large temple. We had a great time exploring the city centre, which was not too far away from the hotel.

I had a short but amazing stay at this B&B. The host made us feel really special, offering complimentary tea late in the evening and even cooking a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast at 5 in the morning. The rooms were spacious, clean, and air-conditioned, with a great view overlooking the lake. The location was perfect, close to town yet peaceful. The host also went above and beyond to arrange our onward train tickets to Colombo. I highly recommend this hotel.
